Wanda (Grey) Smith

Wanda Grey Smith, age 71, of Birmingham, AL., departed this life on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Zion Memorial Gardens (501 Tarrant Huffman Rd). NO PUBLIC VISITATION.  She was the previous Owner and President of Grey Memorial Funeral Home for nearly 45 years. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, O.J. and Bernice Grey; sisters, Jacqueline Gardner, Carolyn McCray and Janet L. Grey. Those left to cherish her precious memories are her children: Wendy Brooks and Mykeon Smith ( Chee Thao); grandchildren, Grey Brooks and Mykenna Kai Wanda Smith; siblings, Earnest Jerome (Janice) Grey, Muriel Robinson, Betty Whaley, Gloria Atchinson and Linda White, special aunt, Arie Lee Smith; nephews, nieces other relatives and friends
