Rev. Velman L. Gurley, age 88, of Birmingham, AL., departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2025. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at New Beginnings UMC ( 2133 32nd Ave No). Burial will follow in Alabama National Cemetery. Public visitation will be on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at the funeral home from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M.
