Rickey J. Edwards, age 68, of Birmingham, AL., departed this life on Friday, Sept.28, 2018. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, Oct.13, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at New Start Covenant of Grace (2873 41st Ave. No), formerly Northside Church of God. Burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 at 11:45 A.M. at Alabama National Cemetery. Public visitation will be Friday, Oct.12, 2018 at the funeral home from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. He leaves to cherish his memories; one daughter; Chadretter (Tommie) Henley, two sons; James (Pamela) and Roszell (Kristal) Edwards, five sisters; Veronica Hammond, Rhonda Baker, Shalent (Morgan) Beal, Glenda Alexander and Shirley (Herman) Harris, one brother; Jerome Edwards, one daughter-in-law; Latonya Edwards, 9 grandchildren, 3 aunts, 1 uncle and many other relatives and friends.
