Michael Durrell Mitchell, Sr. a resident of Birmingham, AL., entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2017. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at West End Hills Missionary Baptist Church (1680 19th Place SW). Burial will follow in Zion Memorial Gardens.
Michael's memory will be cherished by his daughter, Tatiana B. Gholston; grandchildren: Bailey Brenay, Marley Lynn, Aaron Michael, and Scottland Danyelle; his five brothers: Terrell Gentry, Ronnie (Ellen) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Rodney "Red" (Sharee) Mitchell, Darrell "Bo" Mitchell, and Scotty Mitchell; one sister, Tammie Mitchell; two aunts: Jacqueline G.M. Jackson and Mildred Tramell; one uncle, James "Richard" Gentry; close loving cousin, Donna Gee (Richard) Scott; special niece, Vivian A. Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends; and close friends, Antoinette "Ms. Ann" Hylton, Andrea "Dree" Clayton; best friends: Marcus (Rosalind) Scott, Al Owens, Antonio Terry, and Victor Morris.
