To the Jackson Family
Our deepest sympathy is express to the entire Jackson family. We our sorry to hear about the passing of Mattie Jackson. Yes our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this hour of great sadness. It is clear that we have lost another person that was special to us. Sure we have fond memories of Mattie, but in reality we rather have the real person among their many family members and friends. If we as human can feel this way, I am sure that God does also. In fact He shares that very thoughts with all in the Bible. Please take note of this personal promise that God reveals to His earthly family. First He has taken note of the tears that we shed when we lose someone in death. He knows ever tear that falls from our eyes, and has collected them together in a figurative I’ve sense and preserved them in a bottle for remembrance. (Psalm 56:8) For what purpose some may ask? That He would restore our love ones back to life. So now God goes on to reveal this loving promise. He states that He would call to those in the grave, and that our love ones would hear His voice and stand up in life again. ( John 5:28-29) God wants all to save the gravity of this text. This text serves as a personal guarantee from God that Mattie, and billions of others will stand up in life again. Yes only God can make such a promise, and then have the power and the desire to carry out such a promise. Yes He understand that there would be those who would have doubts about this promise. So He has taken the time to preserves nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the future resurrection blessing. Here is just one of the many accounts recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I would like to encourage the family and friends to take the time to see how the verses apply to Mattie, and to many others who have died. How this promise from God assures us that they will indeed stand up in life again. The reading of the many accounts helps to build up our faith and confidence in this loving arrangement from God. So in closing we say please keep this promise near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God gives a promise it always becomes reality. For God does not lie. ( Titus 1:)
